DESCRIPTION:Resilient Communities: Adverse Childhood Experiences & Resiliency\nTraining opportunity co-hosted by Resilient Community Codington County, Codington Connects, Children’s Home Society, and Center for the Prevention of Childhood Maltreatment.\nTraining will focus on how ACEs can impact all areas of a child’s life, leading to poor physical, mental, and behavioral outcomes in adulthood. Participants will learn more about how childhood stress and today’s stress as adults can cause chemical disruptions in the brain, impeding development of children and adults.
