2019 Educators’ Conference: Unlocking the Resilient Classroom

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The School of Education and the Center for Disabilities, USD, are accepting applications for presentations for the 2019 Educators’ Conference. The Institute is geared to all K-12 educators, school administrators, counselors, and staff.
The Conference will be held over 5 days running from Monday, July 15th – Friday, July 19th. Morning sessions will have an intense focus on one of the following 5 topics: Trauma/ACES, Social & Emotional Behaviors, Child Maltreatment, Poverty, and Health/Addictions. We are seeking proposals for breakout sessions in the afternoon that complement and enhance these 5 core areas. This year breakout sessions will be 1 hour in duration, running from 2:00-4:30pm each day. Presentations highlighting successful programs in schools are encouraged.
