Connie Halverson is the Vice President of Public Benefit for Delta Dental of South Dakota and the Delta Dental of South Dakota Foundation. In this position she oversees Delta Dental’s Foundation programs and the company’s marketing and communications efforts, working to improve health outcomes for children, their families, and their communities. Over the course of her time at Delta Dental, Connie has managed programs that have provided oral health care to nearly 65,000 patients. In addition, she has secured more than $8 million in grants to improve oral health in South Dakota. Connie has volunteered on the boards of several local and statewide non-profit and government organizations including Dakota Resources, South Dakota Workers Compensation Advisory Council, Oahe YMCA, South Dakota Dental Foundation and Feeding South Dakota. Prior to working for Delta Dental, Connie worked in various positions for both the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the South Dakota Department of Tourism.
