Katie Schroeder joined CPCM in July 2021.  Katie received her business, financial services, and marketing Associate of Applied Science degrees from the Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls, SD.

She worked for eleven years as a Deans’ Assistant for the Office of Medical Education at the Sanford School of Medicine USD.  Katie assisted with the overall department functions, strategic planning, curriculum reform, Medical Education Committee, and the Scholarship Pathways Program.

She served as the Deans’ Assistants Group Communications Committee Co-Chair and assisted with fostering interrelationships with national medical schools to discuss issues of common interest.

In July 2021 Katie joined the Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment as a Program Assistant.  In this position she will be assisting the CPCM team with department activities, strategic goals, ACEs data tracking initiative, and the Child & Adult Advocacy Studies (CAASt) program.

Katie is a native of Brandon, SD and currently lives in Sioux Falls, SD with her husband Shaine.
