Kay Glidden is a compassion fatigue specialist, trauma-informed care trainer and mindfulness educator. Kay began her began her career in higher education, counseling and teaching college students for 13 years.
Her experience stems from over 30+ years as a mental health professional, human resources specialist and working in the Nebraska public behavioral health system. Kay served on a team for the National Council for Behavioral Health’s first National Learning Community for trauma-informed care.
She teaches mindfulness to youth in her local school district and is a trainer for Mental Health First Aid, compassion fatigue and emotional trauma trainings.
