Handling the Tough Questions: How to Talk to Children and the Outside World about Difficult Issues

Foster families sometimes struggle with how to talk to children about difficult issues with their biological parent (e.g., substance use or prostitution, no shows for visitations). This presentation will give ideas for how to approach these conversations, as well as how to prepare children to handle questions they might get from other children or adults they encounter.
