This session examines the intersection of domestic violence and sexual assault, focusing on how power and control tactics can prevent victims from reporting abuse. Jennifer and Tracey will provide both legal and medical perspectives, with Tracey outlining how South Dakota law defines domestic abuse and incorporates sexual assault, and Jennifer exploring how these dynamics may present in clinical settings and how medical providers respond.
