Child & Adult Advocacy Studies

This 5-hour training provides school personnel with knowledge for working in school multidisciplinary teams and discussion on the perceived barriers to implementing trauma-informed approaches. Training participants will increase knowledge of mandatory reporting, youth suicide prevention, multidisciplinary approaches, and trauma-informed interventions.

The content within this training may be difficult to hear at times and may bring up emotional responses for some people. Please take care of that emotion in a way that is good for you, which may include: take a break, move around, doodle, grab a snack or glass of water, listen to background music, etc. If you need additional help or resources, please visit the Helpline Center at https://www.helplinecenter.org/.

To report child abuse or neglect, please call 877-244-0864 between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. If reporting an emergency situation before 8am, or after 5pm, on the weekends, or during a holiday, please contact your local law enforcement.
