Empowering Families Retreat a Success
Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment’s Early Childhood Comprehensive System proudly co-hosted the recent Empowering Families Retreat, in partnership with the South Dakota Statewide Family Engagement Center. Our attendees had the opportunity to participate in a variety of learning activities, self-care time, and more. Keynote Annie Neimand, Ph.D., an expert in storytelling and social change, provided a session on how to use your unique story to advocate for your family’s needs and create a supportive environment for your children. Thank you to all of the attendees who were able to join us!
