Workshop Goals:
Ensure that all lay community members and professionals working with the community have an understanding of the ACEs study.
Ensure that all participants have knowledge of how the brain develops and the impact of trauma on the development of the brain.
Learn how because of brain development changes, behaviors are greatly impacted.
Learn about behaviors become adaptive skills and the impact that has on the community as a whole.
Learn about resiliency, how to build resiliency in those around us, and how to respond in a trauma informed way.
Learn about their role in creating self-healing communities.
