This full day Pediatric Clinical Skills Lab is designed for all nurses and providers who may care for a pediatric patient with concerns of sexual abuse. The Clinical Skills Lab will help nurses or providers discern need for an acute exam, how to conduct that exam, next steps and resources.

Location: Richard F. Kneip Building (700 Governors Dr, Pierre SD) with virtual option

Trainers: CPCM is grateful to partner with a local panel of experts including a Child Abuse Pediatrician, a Nurse Practitioner specializing in
Child Sexual Abuse evaluations, a SANE nurse supervisor, and an attorney with the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

Cost: Free for SD nurses and providers, including travel and hotel costs.

Stipend: $200 is available for SD nurses and providers who attend in person.
