This full day Pediatric Clinical Skills Lab is designed for all nurses and providers who may care for a pediatric patient with concerns of sexual abuse. The Clinical Skills Lab will help nurses or providers discern need for an acute exam, how to conduct that exam, next steps and resources. Participants must be able to attend the full training.

Trainer: CPCM is grateful to partner with a local panel of experts including a Child Abuse Pediatrician, a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Child Sexual Abuse evaluations, a SANE nurse supervisor, and an attorney with the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

Cost: $0 – $500 *Note: This training is FREE for SD nurses. This funding includes per diem and mileage reimbursement.
