This two-day Clinical Skills Lab is designed to provide clinical practice to nurses who are new SANEs or SANEs who have not had the opportunity to perform many exams. By utilizing live models, the Clinical Skills Lab will increase the nurse’s skill and confidence with performing medical forensic examination. Participants must have completed at least 80% of the 40-hour IAFN-approved didactic training prior to attending the Clinical Skills Lab. Participants must also be able to attend the full training. The SANE Clinical Skills Lab is for RN’s or mid-level providers who have completed the 40hour Adult/Adolescent IAFN-approved didactic training.

Trainer: CPCM is grateful to partner with local SANEs across the state who have much SANE experience and give of their time to train other fellow nurses in the field.

Cost: $0 – $500 *Note: This training is FREE for SD nurses. This funding includes per diem and mileage reimbursement.
