SANE Clinical Skills Lab
This two-day Clinical Skills Lab is designed to provide clinical practice to nurses who are new SANEs or SANEs who have not had the opportunity to perform many exams. By utilizing live models, the Clinical Skills Lab will increase the nurse’s skill and confidence with performing medical forensic examination of the adult and adolescent sexual assault patient. Participants must have completed the 40-hour IAFN-approved didactic training prior to attending the clinical skills lab. Participants must also be able to attend the full two-day training.

Target Audience: RN’s or mid-level providers who have completed the 40-hour Adult/Adolescent IAFN-approved didactic training.
Cost: $0 – $500
*Note: This training is FREE for SD nurses within the counties classified as “rural SD”
