Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment, a center of USD, is recruiting a MSW or MPH student employee to assist with a WIC Community Innovation and Outreach Project (WIC-CIAO).
WIC aligns with several child abuse prevention strategies:
- Providing support and education to parents

Job Description:
$18/hour up to 20 hours/week. Includes some evening and weekend hours. Position would be held for the 2023-2024 academic year, with the option to continue through October 2024. The main duties include:
- Preparing materials for outreach events and trainings
- Providing administrative support for project team and community partner meetings
- Identifying, scheduling, and staffing outreach events
- Assisting with survey data collection
- Recruiting and managing USD student volunteers
- Engaging with families to collect qualitative data about their experiences with WIC
