The Process and Practice of Cultural Humility

Recognize the differences between cultural competence and cultural humility and identify tools to support increasing self-awareness in order to increase capacity for cultural humility.

Trainers: Erika Iverson, MTh, PhD Candidate and Carmen Rodriguez

Erika Iverson is the Grants Director at SD Urban Indian Health. Erika comes to SDUIH with years of experience in grant management, grant writing, research, teaching, and working for non profit organizations across the country.

Carmen Rodriguez is the Human Resource Director at SD Urban Indian Health. Carmen comes to SDUIH with extensive experience working with cultural immersion and sensitivity.
