Cultural Competency Training Series Recordings
Training series for service providers working with families with young children. Topics include cultural awareness, refugee resettlement, and working with interpreters. Training provided through the WIC CIAO Project in partnership with LSS.
Child Health Outcomes and Social Determinants of Health
Define and explain the concept of social determinants of health (SDH) and identify and categorize the key social determinants of health affecting children, including but not limited to access to healthcare, nutrition, housing stability, parental education level, and community safety.
